Brooke's high school crush is getting married. Ok so Will was every one's high school crush.

Cassie & Will got married this last weekend. Talk about the most perfect bride and groom ever. I have no picks of the wedding, but I did take pics from the rehearsal party that was a pig roast. It was pretty cool. Great friends, good food and a little entertainment.

Grace tells me yesterday, "It's too hot mommy, I go outside".

Since Grace knows how to help herself to not only the snacks, but also to the fridge. She grabbed herself a juice on her way outside.

On The Move

It's official Emmit is on the move and crawling.

He goes from a 4 point stance to a bear crawl then quickly to a army crawl.

Yesterday he crawled over to the dog food bowl and well had a sample of Tug's grub.

Finally

Finally I got to meet baby Cannon James last night. Cannon is Brooke and Kuba's baby boy that is 1 month today. I can't believe this is the first time that I have had a chance to meet him, but boy was he worth the wait. He is such a cutie and so perfect.

Cannon is one lucky boy. His parents are pretty cool people.

It was a joy to watch our kids play and hang out together. It seems just like yesterday Brooke and I were little kids ourselves.

Brooke you are amazing and you are a great mom.

What The Heck Fest

Under the Stars

This past Friday I put on a event called the "Family Camp out" through my work. This year I had Grace spend the night with me under the stars. She had a blast running with the big kids, eating hot dogs and coloring with permanent pen on her arms.

If your wondering what that lovely scab is on Grace's face, well she fell in her game shoes this week on the bleachers and well hit her face. She is learning to pick her feet up more in those game shoes.

Bath Time

Bath time with the kids just got a little more entertaining these last two weeks.

Game Shoes

Let me introduce Grace's new game shoes. Ok, they are not new, someone from the APRD gave them to me. I brought them home and Grace has to decided to call them her game shoes. I am not making this up, when I write that she went to bed in them last night. I had to hide them today so she wouldn't be walking around in soccer cleats all day.

Someone is ready for fall soccer.

With game shoes, comes game water. Grace asked for water and calls it her game water when she is wearing these shoes.

I tell you Grace keeps us entertained more then any entertainment news show out there.

Friday Night Mayhem

After our sweet birthday party for Natalie we went across the street to Adrift where they have the best food in town. We sat outside. Josh ordered a beer and I ordered a glass of red. We ordered our food. Not more then 5 minutes into this beautiful dining experience we almost had to get the food to go. Not sure I need to explain, but trying to keep a toddler to sit still after a cupcake and feeding a baby with many distractions around, it was a little crazy.

With a lot of bribes and promises to Grace we were able to enjoy our meals. OK I inhaled mine. Why do I eat so fast? Just trying to get it all in before a melt down occurs I guess.

7 Months

Emmit is 7 months.

He loves to chew on his feet.

He loves to crawl backwards, which should explain the photo of him almost under the couch.

He loves his sister.

He has 2 teeth.

He sleeps an average of 4 hours in his crib, then he ends up in bed with us.

He is perfect in every way. We are so lucky to have him.

We Love Grandma

Laurie did a great job watching the kids while we were gone. She not only had the kids napping at the same time, but she also got Emmit to sleep in the crib. Yes you heard me right. Emmit is sleeping in the crib, well most of the night...
