Friends & Babies

When ever I go down to my parents I try to get it all. Time with my friends and family. This trip down I did not get to see all my friends (The Brown Family), but I for sure got to see three ladies that I admire as moms and was glad to be around. Brooke & Cannon, Sarah and her kids Beau & Charollte and Meg & Hadley. It was a great weekend of visiting with my friends.

Weekend At Grandma & Grandpa's

Grace and Emmit got to enjoy a special day and sleep over with their cousin's Jack and Carly. It was full of McDonald's, trips to the play ground, running around the house and sleeping in the tent with Grandpa.

Messy Me

Yesterday I took the kids to my Messy Me class that I teach through the Parks Dept. It was great fun and for sure my kids know how to get messy.

Houston We Have A Problem...

Umm. This is not good. Emmit ends up in our bed each night. YIKES. What are we doing?

I have to admit though it is kind of cute. Seeing him so sound in his sleep next to his da da.

My Majestic Mother's Day

I had the most Majestic Mother Day. Woke up to coffee, cards, flowers, hanging baskets, new running shoes and a date with my family for brunch. We all put on our Sunday best and ate with our pinkys up at the very posh Majestic Inn, located in the heart of A-Town. It was a beautiful day. Thank you Grace, Emmit and Josh for spoiling me today.

P.S. A extra shout out needs to go to the kids for not breaking anything at the table.

A voluntarily- observed holiday...

Say what? Cinco de Mayo in my home since college has always been a mandatory celebration and I plan on keeping it that way at least until Emmit is finished with college...

According to the encyclopedia, Cinco de May is a voluntarily- observed holiday that commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over the French.

Well whatever the reason we celebrated with our favorite family The Swapps and ate and maybe drank ( OK just I drank) a little too much for the middle of the week.

Emmit's Swim Class

Last night was Emmit's first swim class. He loved the water and had such a great time. I think even Josh had a good time as well. Josh was not the only dad in the water our friend Shaun was in the water with his daughter Brooklyn. She did not like the water as much.
