It's Always Good

It is always good to go to my parents house and to see my brother and his family. We live 2 hours away, but we only see each other like every 4 months. So Peter's son Jack is like a big boy, Carly is Miss social butterfly and baby Caitlin is 7 months hold and not a new born anymore. Great to see the family.
Here are some pics from our over night with the rents.

Baby Caitlin smiling for the camera.

Josh and baby Caitlin. We feel like she needs more air time.

Baby Caitlin. 7 months.

Jackson your almost a teenager I swear. Stop growing.

Emmit and Jackson wrestling around in the kitchen.

Big Papa Dawg feeding little man hot dogs.

These cousins are the best of friends.

These goof balls. Jackson looks just like my brother. It's scary.

" Luke I am not your father".

Grandma Dee got it right when she made this mini kitchen purchase for the grand kids at her house.

So After two bottles of Red Grandpa Bill carved the pumpkin for the kids and then put ketchup on his fingers to make it look like he cut himself. This is normal family behavior, right? Just joking dad. We love you.

Friday

School Bus

Today was Grace's first field trip on a bus! Yeah. On the way to school I tried to teacher her the song "Thank You Mr. Bus Driver" and told her to sit up front with the smart kids. That the kids in the back get in trouble and do other strange or totally not legal things.
Can you guess where I used to sit?

This is the face of joy.

Off to the pumpkin Patch with the class.

Oh yeah little brother got to go as well.

Grace that is a pumpkin not a horse.

Wednesday

Tot Soccer

Nothing like teaching parents and their 2 and 3 year old how to play soccer.

Tuesday

Field Trip To The Fire Station

It's weird all the mom's volunteered to help the teachers take the class to the fire station.

Here is Grace's pre- k class. I love all the different faces going on. Grace goes to day care with the sassy red head in the pic and she talks A LOT about Landon S. the Blondie boy with the brown hood on his head. He looks a little gangster, I might need to have a talk with her.

Friday

Special Package

OK you have my permission to send any package to my house that has Grace & Emmit's name on it. The excitement there was over this package on our front door was up there with a first taste of ice cream, first pony ride or the first time mommy let you stay up late and watch "mommy TV" aka anything that is on channel 63 to 66. You moms know what I am referring to.
Back to the package.
This package arrived today full of clothes for both kids and the pink/ purple/ horses cheerleader costume that was requested by Grace to Grandma Laurie.
WOW it is perfect.
Thank you Grandma Laurie.
Grace LOVES the costume.

Sunday

Skagit Farm Tour- Bow

Last stop on the tour ( only because it was past noon and Josh needed lunch and the kids needed to be set free into a padded room to burn off all the energy) we went to Golden Glen Creamery in Bow.
We got free ice cream bars, milked a pretend cow , got up close to some real heifers and smelled the smells of being on a cow farm.

Skagit Farm Tour -Mt. Vernon

Stop number 2 on the tour was the very popular Schuh Farms located in Mt. Vernon. Where we got the pumpkins, saw some farm animals and went onto a tractor ride.
