5 Months

Geez, I'm behind in reporting that my son Emmit is 5 months already. He is growing so fast. He weighs a hefty 18lbs and is into baby food.
His favorite foods: Bananas, Pears, Applesauce and Prunes.
Emmit is a wiggle worm and gets all limbs a moving when anyone talks in a high pitch voice to him or when his sister Grace blows farts sounds on his belly.
Emmit is still sleeping with his mama and dada. We are working on it, as you know mama and dada need their time too:)

Brooke Got A Shower

Brooke had her baby shower this weekend. It was a beautiful afternoon full of love, wisdom and some good loot for the mama to be.

Grace's Pre-School

Yes, you read the title of this blog entry right. Today I had a visit with Grace's future pre- school for when she attends in the fall of 2010!

Gulp.

I was informed the other day by a very savvy mom that I needed to start looking at pre-schools and to get on wait list for schools.

Double gulp.

So, I freaked out and then of course got right on it.

I can't wait for Grace to attend pre-school. Ok maybe I can. This means she is growing up fast...

A Day At The Beach

Got some sun, washed my car, went for a long jog, drank beer with adults, slept in (7:30am), played with my family, did some yard work, didn't drive more then 5 miles in my car = Perfect Weekend!

Grace thinks is good for dad to have a straw in his beer!

Some good parenting here. Grace had to get strapped in and I let her put my lip gloss on so she would stop screaming

As a family we started out the afternoon walking downtown to a new event "Garden Art Show" at the depot. It wasen't that exciting, maybe if Josh and I were 55 or older. Then we decided to head South on Commercial and hit up one of the two places where you can drink beer legally with your child in the same area. The Rockfish. Two beers later, mama's feeling real good.

3 Weeks Post Surgery

Emmit is healing up. We go to Children's next week for his post surgery appointments. We are all ready for his stints to come out.

Where is Emmit getting this red hair from?
