Is it a boy thing?

So Emmit likes to hit himself A LOT. We didn't go through this with Grace, so we are thinking this must be a boy thing. He hits himself after we tell him no and he has started to throw himself down to the ground and kick and scream.
Is this normal?
Oh I almost forgot to mention the amount of head butting that is happening.
Are we going to be on Dr. Phil in 10 years?
Oh yeah and the little monkey REALLY likes to feed himself with his own spoon or fork. It's a mess, but totally worth moments like this.

Maybe it's a name thing? Our E does the same thing, it goes in waves though. We were getting so frustrated with the hitting thing but that seems to have backed off. Now its more of a throwing ANYTHING he can get his hands on.

Please explain the top photo of the kiddos...C and I were just having a good laugh about it.

Oh yeah, we will totally take you up on that offer to come visit by the way! :)

p.s. our E loves to wear his food also, completely a boy thing!

Er, did you have a "foam party" party with your kids? A little Johnston rave?

Yeah, not sure what got into me, but I came yesturday from my meeting and wanted to play with the kids in shaving cream. Josh thought I was completely nuts.

Shaina, lets get something on the books. I will email C today to get your email info.

Brooke we totally had a rave to Jack Johsnon in the kitchen.

Shaving cream!? Next time go for whipped cream - then Emmit can eat it too! LOL

the only problem with whip cream is how greasy it is. impossible to clean and burns your eyes SO bad, I speak from experience. no not in a naughty way, just massive planned whip cream fight that we thought was a great idea. until we were all flushing our eyes in sinks and even with hoses outside!
