The store was huge, red and girls were walking around holding these perfect little dolls everywhere.At one point Grace in the car said to me, "mom what is the big deal with these dolls".
I told her the truth. That is that I do not know , but you are lucky to have one and by golly you better enjoy this:)
Meeting up with Carly and Grandma D made for a wonderful afternoon at the bistro.
We drank with our pinkies out and giggled lots.
Grace was made to feel very special on her birthday and I am sure she will remember her special day for a long time.

What a special day for the birthday girl. I remember Graces first birthday, at the pizza restaurant and Aunty Brooke buying her a bubblegum machine. Oh-those young, naive childless days.
