Morgan Turns 21

Josh's little sis turned 21 today! So she came down from the camp she has been working at all summer to celebrate. Even though it was a Monday, Josh and I still seemed to manage to have a beverage or two with her.

Why are these hats so fun to put on in Mexican restaurants on birthday's?

Even Emmit got in on the fun!

Morgan told us this was her first shot of tequila. Something tells me she is not telling the truth, I mean come on 3 years of college and no straight shots of tequila? That's right she goes to Western, they don't have that kind of fun there:) Anyways she handled the shot just fine.

Round two of drinks begins and this is when I stopped taking photos. Don't call CPS I only had one margarita for any of you concerned about who was looking after the kids.

Guemes Island

This morning we went aboard the 5 minute ferry ride to Guemes Island, also known by locals as "Dog Island".
We had a great tour guide, long time A- Town resident Bob and his two beautiful girls Sally and Reese.
It was a great ride. Guemes is full of perfect country roads, friendly residents and great views.

Emmit enjoying his lunch break.

Grace, Reese and Sally at Anderson's Market.

This was at the end of our ride, waiting for the ferry. We all earned our beverages today:)

Self Portrait.

Emmit enjoying the free ride!

Emmit is the King of Guemes today.

Look who found a walking stick.

Reese had great speed on the ride today.

Bob and Sally keeping us on track.

Josh's butt is eating the seat. After seeing this picture Josh tells me that he needs a new bike.

Yeah for Guemes. Save the mountain.

Brew Master

Josh is brewing. His beer should be ready to enjoy in 7 to 10 days.

Josh tells me that you are supposed to drink beer while you brew. I say even if it is 11am on a Friday...

Emmit Loves..

Emmit loves his sister and the dog bowl.

Yeah buddy you got caught in the dog bowl again!

Grace is a Big Helper

Grace is becoming my little helper with Emmit. Her latest thing is that she likes to help feed him. It usually ends with her bossing him around and Emmit screaming! Just see for yourself.

Pig Roast

Brooke & Kuba's baby boy Cannon hanging out at the party!
Mrs. Sarah Dix and Josh!

The tri-pod.
Love these ladies like sisters.

Brookie Brooke & I will never pass one of these without taking full advantage of Brooke playing the guy role and I the girl.

Oink Oink

The Bride & Groom.

Cassie & I.

Brooke & Sarah, so beautiful.

Brooke's high school crush is getting married. Ok so Will was every one's high school crush.

Cassie & Will got married this last weekend. Talk about the most perfect bride and groom ever. I have no picks of the wedding, but I did take pics from the rehearsal party that was a pig roast. It was pretty cool. Great friends, good food and a little entertainment.

Beating the Heat

Grace tells me yesterday, "It's too hot mommy, I go outside".

Since Grace knows how to help herself to not only the snacks, but also to the fridge. She grabbed herself a juice on her way outside.

Real Food

Enough with the baby food. This man wants REAL FOOD.

Here is Emmit enjoying some cheese filled ravioli's.

On The Move

It's official Emmit is on the move and crawling.

He goes from a 4 point stance to a bear crawl then quickly to a army crawl.

It's a crawl.

Yesterday he crawled over to the dog food bowl and well had a sample of Tug's grub.

Didn't take a picture of that.

InStyle

Like her mother, Grace enjoys a good read.

Caught her at the table reading this and telling me all the girls looks like princesses.

Emmit Loves The Pool

And So Does Josh...

Finally

Finally I got to meet baby Cannon James last night. Cannon is Brooke and Kuba's baby boy that is 1 month today. I can't believe this is the first time that I have had a chance to meet him, but boy was he worth the wait. He is such a cutie and so perfect.

Cannon is one lucky boy. His parents are pretty cool people.

It was a joy to watch our kids play and hang out together. It seems just like yesterday Brooke and I were little kids ourselves.

Brooke you are amazing and you are a great mom.

What The Heck Fest

Notice Josh's handy man work on his new work bench he built this week.

I think Josh is posing here, not sure...

Kuba and Josh took to the bikes to get them down to the bars to part take in some What the Heck Fest music.
