Monday

We crashed the dash...

We still got it Josh.

This past Saturday Josh and I participated in the annual St. Pats Dash in Seattle.

It was fun.

It was raining.

It was snowing.

It was Josh and I taking on the big city and that beer garden together.

We will do it again.

Thank you babe for bringing on the fun this weekend.

I'm A God Mother

Dear Camilla Joy,

It is with great honor that I became your god mother on Sunday.

When I think about what this means to me I think about how I will be like an aunt to you, maybe even that cool aunt that sneaks you sips of her drinks and lets you drive the car.

But really what I think of most is how lucky I am that your parents think that much of me to have me be your god mother.

To be honest Camilla, I don’t know much about the bible. Perhaps we will learn more together. But what I do know is how to appreciate the small things in life and how important it is to treat people with kindness and respect.

Oh Camilla Joy it’s going to be one heck of a ride. Hold on tight sweet cheeks, because you are connected to me my little sack of potatoes.

Love You,

You’re Fairy God Mother!

Just another day on the job...

Friday

Art Show

Grace had her art on display in the Anacortes School District Art Show. She was pretty proud.

The name on her art is "Cheetah". Oh to be 5 again.
Showing dad all of her friends art work.
Yup, you would think that this just all went straight to her head...
Yeah we know Grace. This is year two for you to be in the show.
There are some very talented little artist. And Emmit (see photo below) they would appreciate if you DID NOT TOUCH!!!

True that statement above.

Thank you John Wooden for this

"Peace of mind attained only through self-satisfaction and knowing you made the effort to do the best of which you are capable. I believe that is true. If you make the effort to do the best of what you are capable, trying to improve the situation that exists for you, I think that is success and I do not think others can judge that."- John Wooden

These Dads Are The Best

When you are the one in charge of the event, you miss out on some of the nights details. Found these on our other camera that Josh took with him for the night of the Daddy Daughter Dance.
Real men do wear pink Josh. Remember that!
 Dinner at the Rock Fish.
 Shawn and his daughter Brooklyn.
Pat & Tatum enjoy some fish and chips.
I can only picture how loud and silly those girls were at the table.
Tatum and Grace waiting in line to take their photo with dad.
 How cute is this?

Brooklyn Grace and Tatum circle dancing.

Grace is so that friend that picks you up.
Grace and Grandpa twirling on the dance floor and you can kind of notice my dad has his tongue out. So typical!

And yes, Josh can dance. He knows the YMCA!

Sunday

Daddy Daughter Dance 2012

They had dinner.
They danced.
They had endless access to sweets and the punch fountain.
They joined a conga line.
And most importantly they had FUN!

Pretty sure Grace along with 125 other daughters had the best night of their life.

I know I enjoyed myself with my dad. Thank you dad for making my night so special.

Grace you are one lucky girl who has a very special dad!
